I am, writing about a record I found in the mainstream section of a foreign music shop, where the concept of World Music just doesn't seem to exist.
This record is entitled "Je Dis Aime", which means "I say love", but like several of his albums, the title is a pun on his name - "M". M is short for Mathieu, and of course it sounds the same as the word "aime".
I first heard some of the fifteen songs on this album whilst sitting dejectedly in the train station in Paris, after having been sent home from work at six am for having inadvertently turned up on my day off. Blast.
But I asked my companion who was singing, and I was told "M". You can imagine the confusion that ensued -

But after some time researching for a singer represented by a letter, I found this album, and was hooked.

Advantages: Great metro service, beautiful city to explore on foot, Disadvantages: Perhaps more difficult for disabled people, busy busy busy, lots of sellers and beggars, STRIKES
breathe - I certainly know what it must be like to be a sardine now! However, it's unlucky to ever reach such proportions again - a minimum service law has now come into effect, so even when train drivers are striking, there will always be 40% of the trains running.
BY CAR:- I wouldn't recommend bringing a car to Paris if you can avoid it, particularly if you're unfamiliar with the Parisian style of driving. I don't drive but I have friends who have driven in Paris (both English and French) and they confirm that it's not easy, especially if you don't know where you're going. My ex-boyfriend, who lives in the Parisian suburbs is more than used to driving in Paris but still managed to find himself getting lost, missing turnings, he even managed to end up on a one-way bus lane...going the wrong way! Advantages: Consistent Disadvantages: A couple of tunes let it down
Jagged Edge came out with their second album, "J.E Heartbreak" in 2000, three years after debuting in 1997 with "A Jagged Era". The Atlanta quartet: Brasco, Case Dinero, Quick and Wingo came back with even more of their high-quality, soulful R&B with the aid of Jermain Dupri as the hypeman for the club tunes, and producer pretty much throughout.

Personally, I didn't think that this was the bst way to start things off, especially when you compare it to later tracks on the album. Jermaine Durpi (JD) gets a chance to show off his stop-start beats from the start of this one, and it allows them to really try to get all they can out of it, but there's something about it which holds it back and keeps it at the same level throughout.
