Before anyone downrates me for being off topic, id better explain why the title of the album is different from the one listed on the site, when this album was first released in 2001 it was originally called Bleed American, but only weeks after its release there was the atrocity at the world trade centre on September 11th, so the band changed the title.

The band consists of Jim Adkins - Vocals, Guitar and Percussion.
Tom Linton - Guitar and Vocals.
Rich Burch - Bass.
Zach Lind - Drums.
The album was produced by Mark Trombino, who also produced Blink 182, he also plays a few instruments here and there on the album.
Also featured on some of the songs is Rachel Haden who provides some vocals.

Advantages: Happy and uplifting album Disadvantages: Track 10 is reeeealllyyy cheesey
...about bass guitars but the Jimmy Eat World bassist plays in the standard emo style but it is much more noticeable than in other emo bands and contributes to the unique sound that the band have.
All the drumming throughout the album is of a slow Style, even in the louder songs with the faster tempo the drumming is slow compared to other bands of the style. 1)Bleed American
A brilliant opening track for the album. The song has a heavier touch to ... ...3)The Middle
The most famous Jimmy Eat World song, starting with plucking guitars and then going into the bands usual beats with extremely catchy lyrics and guitaring it is a song that can really get stuck in your head. “Live right now, just be yourself, it doesn’t matter if its good enough for someone else” the singer claims. With a nice(but not exactly talented) solo at the end this is quite a pleasing song to listen to.

...the listeners...sorry i mean victims. Jimmy Eat World have launched an all out attack on teh music scene and are taking everybodies hearts and emotions with them. This is no holds barred emo. Their highly infectious second single soon comes rattling through the stereo. The Middle is pop perfection. Hooks that the set of Peter Pan would die for and a solo to whet the appetite of the most hardened of fretboard wankers. Jimmy Eat World have officially ... ...you me and Cautioners show Jimmy Eat World at their most sensitive and most gorgeous. With a voice stolen from an angel and givena little modern twist, Adkins soars and saunters around keys mere mortals would have thought impossible. Is he really this heartbroken or is he having a laugh while the public fall hook, line and sinker for his songs. ...second most latest release from Jimmy Eat World! Called, Bleed American, or if you have the more modern version then it is just called Jimmy Eat World. They changed the name of it after the September 11th attacks.
Before we talk about the album, I will tell you a little bit about the band in case you are not familiar with them. So here it goes:
Jimmy Eat World formed in 1994 with the following members:
Jim Adkins (vocals/guitar) Zach Lind (drums)
... ...was one of the first Jimmy Eat World songs I heard, and I was impressed, and probably why I am so into them at the moment. It is quite short unfortunately and could do with being a bit longer.
2) A Praise Chorus: This is one of my favourite Jimmy Eat World songs. It shows off his good voice, and it has a really good rhythm to it. All of the instruments and vocals all fit together really well. It's a great song :-D

...have not heard any of Jimmy Eat World's early stuff and as such cannot comment on whether Jimmy Eat World are sell-outs, in fact, I can only rate this album without bias. Shame that. So, without further ado...
I first heard of Jimmy Eat World when I heard Praise Chorus on a sampler. I was feeling kind of down at the time and this was one of the most uplifting songs I have ever heard, it really cheered me up. Encouraged, I decided to buy Bleed American. ... ...has a vast range of songs, truly something for everyone. It has punk (Bleed American or Salt Sweat Sugar as it's now called), uplifting power pop (Praise Chorus), heartbreaking angst (Hear you Me), darker songs (Get It Faster) and slow reminiscence (My Sundown). Enough variety for you there?

Advantages: cheery tuneful punk rock Disadvantages: last album maybe
...guy definitely, summed it up when he said “we’re a boy band who its OK to like”
But lets not tarnish the good name of Feeder by talking of Coldplay…the charts are acknowledging that Feeder is one of our best bands, and they deserve great recognition and support for coming through such a tragic experience. Of course their drumming will never be the same, but Grant Nicholas still manages to write and sing fantastic songs.
So go out and buy Echo Park if you haven’t already, and if you’re desperate to add other CD’s to your collection…you could do a lot worse than Comfort in Sound and Yesterday Went Too Soon.
