John Deere Tractor - Larry Sparks

Advantages: Plenty of power, easy to use, excellent build quality and parts backup
Disadvantages: Hard to find any second hand models

...I own and use a John Deere 455 tractor to up-keep my grounds and garden. I have one with a 48 inch side dischange deck, the optional rear 540rpm agriculteral style PTO (which is great for using in conjuction with the three point hitch wihich I also have fitted). I also have the optiopnal 346t hydraulic dump collector which is mounted on the tractor to collect cut grass. The John Deere 455 tractor is ideal for both home/estate owners and contractors. The 3 cylinder 22hp Yanmar diesel engine is very powerfull and allows the tractor to be used for a wide range of tasks, I have never been in a situation where it has been underpowered. Both the cutting deck and transmission are shaft powered with no belts involved - this allows for positive power transfer so that the engines full power is used. ...Perhaps the main reason The Deer Hunter connects with me so much, emotionally, each time I watch it is because it's not really what I would call a "War Film". Opening in the late 1960s, in a small working-class town of Pennsylvania, it tracks three Russian-American steel workers, Michael (Robert De Niro), Steven (John Savage), and Nick (Christopher Walken). The lives of these characters occupy the screen for a large majority of the movie: we see them drinking and singing along to the jukebox at their local bar, dancing at their friends' wedding, and going on hunting trips into the mountains. The reason the film chooses to focus upon these hard-working people is to show the importance of human bonding; how one chooses to celebrate his life by surrounding himself with friends and family. Advantages: Great songs, a great voice, nice range of songs
Disadvantages: Some duds

...I don't really follow American Idol at all as I think we have enough reality shows of our own to keep up with in Britain, but somehow this young singer has caught my eye. I first saw her debut video on a music channel late one evening and the catchy melody and lovely voice made me look on the internet to find out more about her. After hearing that song a few more times, I decided I wanted to try her album so I got the mp3 version for Amazon and sat down to have a listen and I hoped it would be good. Luckily for me it was. Jordin Sparks was only 16 when she entered American Idol, and won the sixth series of the show. Her bdeut single went to number one in America, and since then her popularity has rocketed, releasing a massive hit with R'n'B singer Chris Brown and also cracking the UK market.
