strung together for shock value. I've read a couple of biographies set inside prisons which were insightful and well written but this simply wasn't up to this standard and was a rather two dimensional account of Thompsons experiences.
Reading this book is certainly a good deterrant to a life behind bars, either as a prisoner or an officer.
