People have accused Pink Floyd of being druggies, and I can see why, but I have it on good authority that they weren’t, well, no more than anyone else. Remergence This is an instrumental piece, but with sub headings and as you see – very oddly named, oh I’d have loved to have been at the meeting when they came up with these names. ...Following their triumphant(ish) return at Milton Keynes on the AC/DC bill, the ‘Deth return with a brand spanking new album. Well, it was actually released the month before, but it’s new to me alright? They were certainly entertaining that day, but the question is can they still cut a record? Well obviously they can because they have, but what I mean is - is it any good? Let’s see then. “Disconnect” – starts off in fine form, with that familiar Mustaine sneer to the fore and plenty of variation in the music. The title track next continues the promising start.
