Advantages: Jessica Alba Disadvantages: A bit crude, better chick flicks out there
Good Luck Chuck
I have to say, the first thing that attracted me to this movie was the fact that Jessica Alba was in it. No, I don?t like girls but I do think she is quite pretty and was interested to see her in this film. I had heard a bit about it when it came out but didn?t really know much about it.
It is classified as a romantic comedy, another reason why I wanted to see it as I love ?Chick Flicks? and was released in 2007. The title character Chuck is something of a good luck charm and it seems to conclude that after a woman sleeps with him, the next guy she meets will be her one true love and they will end up marrying and living happily ever after. I think it is a bit of a stretch for a plot as to me it didn?t really seem believable but I guess that was the premise of the film anyway. Chuck refuses to believe this ...
Advantages: Engaging narrative style Disadvantages: A bit obvious and short.
Chuck Palahniuk is not a man to shy away from the controversial and grotesque (I recommend, if that's the right word, reading his short story 'guts' if you dare). So it seems fitting for him to write a book about pornography. There are themes of confused incest, betrayal, embarrassment, prejudice, and a lot of reference to realising or not realising when you have become old and tired.

The story is told from 4 perspectives, Mr. 72, Mr. 137, Mr. 600 (a teenager, a washed up television actor embroiled in a gay sex scandal, a famous porn actor doing a favour for an old friend) and Sheila ...
Advantages: Excellent, A real progression for the band Disadvantages: May be a bit too progressive for some fans
of Deryck Whibley to sing like this. On the bands previous releases I have always found them at their best on the heavier moments so having 'Chuck' really is amazing as it is that heavy moment maintained for an entire album. There are some amazing guitar solos on display on this album with some truly classic Heavy Metal riffs that are sure to put a smile on the face of even the hardest of critics. Some people have always seen the band as a bit of a joke in the past and never really understood their appeal - these guitar solos will surely set the record straight and those people will almost definitely understand the appeal of the band and appreciate their music a bit more.
Debut 'Chuck' single 'We're All To Blame' borrows heavily from System Of A Down track 'Chop Suey' with its chorus having the exact same feel about it. This is definitely not ...
