Advantages: Fun acting, excellent timing, beautiful setting, lots of laughs Disadvantages: No smell-o-vision!!!!! Too smooth an ending.
character in "Between the Sheets" showed us how she can play a prude who learns to unleash her sexuality.
Here, she is none of these - she plays the part of Grace Trevethyn, a just-beyond-middle aged widow who has lived very comfortably all her life, only to find out after her husband's death that she is not only penniless, but heavily in debt. She is strong enough to accept the existence of her husband's mistress Honey (played by Diana Quick), but weak enough to know that her financial situation is close to hopeless. Julia and Julia is director Nora Ephron's adaptation of two books:one written by Julia Child and another by Julie Powell.Any film that takes life from life itself is usually good and this film is no different.
The film tells the story of Julia Child, the author of the famous cookbook and Julie Powell,a simple working woman who decides to make Julia's recipes by herself and decides to write a blog about it.The two stories(one set in 1940s when Julia was young and another set in 2002 when Julie is reading Julia's book) run parallely on screen and unfolds gradually on screen. Both women share lot of similarities in their respective lives and the director lays it down beautifully for the viewer to experience.
If you feel this is a film for women, you are certainly mistaken.Yes,the central characters are women and it involves cooking ...
Advantages: Funny show. Disadvantages: Very stereotypical.
Will & Grace is a Emmy award winning sitcom that aired between 1998-2006. The show takes place in New York City and focuses on Will Truman, a gay lawyer and his best friend Grace Adler, a straight Jewish girl who runs her own interior design firm.

Debra Messing who plays Grace is just so bubbly and eccentric that you can't help but love her. Most importantly though it's the chemistry between Will & Grace that pulls you in, I myself always thought that they'd get together in the end.
The show doesn't just focus around these two characters though, two of the best ...
