Advantages: Duchess is one of the best Genesis tracks. Disadvantages: Some nasty synth-pop and bland tracks
...The three remaining members of Genesis hit the 1980s by starting to write synth-pop songs. Their prog-rock roots hadn't entirely disappeared though. leaving some of the material on this album neither pop nor prog and suffering as a result. Initially they created a suite of songs about "Duke", and then split up the suite and added other tracks, keeping the title for the entire album.
Opening with a joyful fanfare, "Behind The Lines" sounds like it is going to be another good Genesis instrumental, however after a couple of minutes it decends into a rather mundane song with only an occasional glimpse of how it started. Luckily the Genesis magic hasn't completely gone just yet as "Duchess" is a glorious track. I love those drum machine sounds and swirling synths. The whole track has a raising-hairs-on-the-back-of-the-neck energy...

Advantages: Catchy , Better Than The Original Disadvantages: I've heard Better Songs
...Girls Aloud are a British Girl band consisting of Nadine Coyle , Cheryl Cole , Kimberly Walsh , Sarah Harding and Nicola Roberts. Girls Aloud were formed on the reality television show Popstars : The Rivals in 2002. Since then , they have become a huge success. To date they have had eighteen top ten singles , including three number ones. Their style of music consists of pop and electro pop.

The single charted at number two in the British Single Charts. Jump is featured on the British Film , Love Actually , however it is not Girls Alouds version. The film actually has the Pointer Sisters version on the film. This is because at the time , the American...

Jump is a great song to sing & rock to and always manages to get the adrenalin pumping round your body to an almost climatic conclusion.
Anyway, if you haven't heard of VH and you like your music loud & raw then bimble on down to virgin...
