This album isn't appalling. The presentation of the album are superb in my opinion, and for the hardcore Tiësto fan like me who is wanting to get the best value, just being able to own 10 original tracks from Tiësto may make this album worth 5 stars. Regrettably this album is not worth of 5 stars at all. There are only 3 awesome tracks on it they are: Walking On Clouds, A Tear In The Open, & Just Be.
Just Be is one of those classics by Tiësto. The atmosphere is amazing with a hectic backdrop, easy listening industrial sound and stupendous vocal track make it truly fantastic. The lyrics were truly overwhelming and I quickly got drawn in by their simplicity.
In my view Walking On Clouds is an breath-taking trance song by The greatest DJ of all time. It reminds me of Eternity & Obsession (my favourite track by far), and that's something to be proud of. I would like to hear it remixed with a faster tempo considering the slowness of the song!!!!!
Forever Today is actually a good track, but it just couldn't stand the test of time for me. The strenuous intro became truly frustrating every time I wanted to hear the remainder of the song. The introduction has no connection to the rest of the song, making it all the more frustrating to listen too.
Nyana is first-class. It's superior to some of the other tracks on here, especially Sweet Misery. OMG what a dreary song, this one need's to be sped up: big time. Traffic is total and utter bull. I've heard this so many times before Just Be's release? Why is it on this album? I hated it. It is far too vivacious for me to take it seriously. Love Comes Again is a joke and totally ruined the entire album.
Finally Tiësto's Adagio For Strings is supposedly his "best mix ever" is what I have heard people muttering. Ok, I admit it, I do have it on my Ipod mini but I have only listened to it a couple of times as personally I find it boring and too repetitious.
Tiësto has stitched himself up here if he is looking to entice new fans, but if you are hardcore about Tiësto then this is a must buy full stop.
Honestly, if you see it on the shelves, buy it.
