Karaoke is great fun for all and this Karaoke CD is great for any party or you could use it as a backing track for an audition.
The good thing about this CD is that it has a mixture of classic songs from 2001 and if you don't know the words, know need to panic as it comes with all the lyrics!
Here is a song list and bit of information about each group and singer! I have tried to provide with as much as I can, hopefully this will help you get a sense of the songs available on the CD.
1.Pure & Simple: This song is a cheesy pop song! Great for a group number! Group: By Hear Say the pop group formed from the first ever Pop Stars TV programme, the group was made up of Kym Marsh, Suzanne Shaw, Myleene Klass, Danny Foster And Noel Suluvian. The band has since spilt but this is still a classic pop song! Kym Marsh has since married Jack Rider (Jamie from Eastenders) Not sure if they are still together, she also performed in Saturday Night Fever in the West End. Suzanne Shaw has had a baby with Darren Day but they are no longer together, she has also performed in the west end most recently as the narrator in Joseph!
Myleene has done well and has started her own solo career! I really do not know what the two boys are doing now! If anyone does then let me know!
2.Don't Stop Movin: Funky fast number! Group: By S Club Seven, what a classic, especially with the kids, The S Club Crew made up off Tina, Jon, Paul, Hannah, Bradley, Rachel and Jo have now split. Most famous of the group now is Rachel Stevens, who has had great success with her solo career and has also won awards like Best Looking Celebrity Award etc.
3. Whole Again: Those Atomic Kitten Ladies Liz, Tash and Jenny! This is a great girlie tune! You might be familiar with these ladies as they have recently taken to our screens in many celebrity reality TV Shows such as I'm a celebrity and Celebrity Love island. One famous ex kitten is of course Kerry Katona estranged wife of Brian from Boyzone.
4. It's Raining Men: Great one for all the girls as a solo or group number! Artiste: This is the Geri Halliwell Version not the original from the weather girls! Geri of course is most famous for her part in the Space girls as Ginger Spice! She has since gone on to a solo career and getting her picture in the press for dramatic weight loss and her yoga video!
5. Let Love Be Your Energy: A nice boys song for you! Can you live up to the singer though? Artiste: By the great Robbie Williams! Robbie of course was part of Take that! (I was always a huge fan) and now he is a huge solo artist very popular with ladies!
6. Lovin Each Day: A medium tempo song for the boys or girls to sing! Artiste: This song is by yet another ex boy band member this time it's Ronan Keating from Boyzone a great band from Ireland!
7. What took you so long?: A nice up tempo song, not very hard to learn! Artiste: A great song from another Ex member of The Spice Girls this time Baby Spice Emma Bunton! Emma has done ok in her solo careers but has always in the background compared to the others!
8. Yellow: A great group song for the lads! Remember you don't have to shout! Band: A wonderful song by Cold Play, their style is great for the lads with their rock and roll style! The group is made up of Chris Martin (Vocals/Piano), Jon Buckland (guitar), Will Champion (drums) and Guy Berryman (Bass).
9. Stronger: Great belter for a woman's solo! Get ready to strut your stuff! Artiste: This is a real power song by a very popular singer by the name of Britney Spears! Britney is a pop sensation in both America and the UK! She has recently got married and is now a mum! Bless!
10. Give Me Reason: A beautiful slow song for the ladies or perhaps turned into a duet! Group: A great song from The Corrs. The siblings that form the band is Andrea, Caroline, Jim and Sharon they were all brought up together in Ireland!
11. Can't Fight the Moonlight: Fantastic solo! Go for it! Artiste: This great song is by Leanne Rimes and was used in the film Coyote Ugly! Every time I here this song I want to jump onto a bar and start dancing!
12. Never Had a Dream Come True: A lovely Ballard again as a group or alone! Group: Another hit from S Club, this one is lovey dovey Ballard!
13. On The Radio: great boppy little number! Artiste: Martine MuCutcheons version not the original by Donna Summer Martine shot to fame with her role as Tiffany from Eastenders! She has since played Elisa Doolittle in the west ends My Fair Lady! And has also had a pop career!
14. Beautiful Day: A good one for the lads! Group: U2 Famous Irish Rock Bands pop song hit!
15. It's Gonna Be Me: Boy song! Enjoy! Band: N Sync Chris, Joey, JC, Justin and Lance! This American group came over here to England and were a hit! How we love our boy bands!
