ABIT ABOUT THE DISCS
Well i do love karaoke and have a wide selection of discs, but seen as this was lable ladies night, i thought it would be good to try as the title states they are all by female singers. Well i wish i hadent lol, i aint no great singer, but these songs are far too hard for an amateur karaoke singer like myself. I found all the songs hard to sing except 1 so was really no use to me. Maybe others dont have the same opinion as me, but it all depends on the voice you have.
The disc was released on 25/10/2004, and has just the one disc. The recommended retail price now is £5.99 but when i bought it it cost me £9.95

ABIT ABOUT EACH SONG
1) Complicated- Well i think the title says it all, Avril Lavigne has got a great, and powerful voice. Which makes this song so hard to sing, their is many different heights in this song that your voice has to reach. I love this song when i hear her sing it but im afraid i killed the song lol.
2) Get the party started- Yet another good singer and another hard song, Pink has got such a unique voice, that any singer would find hard to make this song sound good.
3) Beautiful- Well this ones a bit easier, but still i would not say easy. Christina is also a powerful singer who is hard to try and sound like or make her songs sound good.
4) Torn - Well another hard one lol, Natalie has not got that great a voice but she does have unique songs that are catchy and sound good and the right type for her voice. This is yet another one that is hard to take of there is so many levels you have to get your voice to, and not many could do it..
5) Can't fight the moonlight - What a class song, and is easier to sing than others, this one gave me more confidence on my voice as i did sound half decent. This is the type of song many singers could try, and not sound too bad.
6) I'm outta love - Well lets face it who can sing like Anastasia, definatly not many people, i would not even attempt to sing this song in a million years lol.
7) Closest thing to crazy - Another song that is not too hard, but you do need to have a soft voice and know the song very well to keep in tune lol.
8) Still the one- This is a good song, thats not very easy to sing, as you are trying to mimic a class country singer. Would rather listen to Shania sing it anyday.
9) If i could turn back time - Now this has got to be one of my favorites, this song is really easy to sing, and you can even sound good at it. Even though Cher is a great singer, she is not that hard to mimic.
10) Ironic - Well this has gotta be the worst song on there to try, i though it would be easy, but with their being little music till the chorus, it makes it alot harder to sing. The best part about it was when i sang the chorus.
11) Whats up- well i had never even heard this song so never bothered to try it, i like to sing songs that i do know. Who knows i may download it sometime.
12) Black velvet - Well now this is also a hard song to sing, i tried it once n will never try it again, the singing on the song is class, and anyone would find it hard to sing this.
13) Never ever - I think the hardest part of this song is where you have to talk through it, the rest is easy. It is such a nice and simple song that many people could sing and sound good .
14) Show me heaven - Well now this is a very hard song, the way you have to raise your voice, its hard to keep singing, instead of shouting. This is just a great song that sounds better by the original singer.
MY VIEWS
I did like this disc, and fancied trying the songs on it, but to be honest i wish i had not bothered.
The songs are way too hard to sing, unless you have a really good voice. I would not recommend this to an amateur singer, like myself. Try a disc that has easier songs on, i do like that it was for all female singers, but the songs added to it were just too hard.
