My favorit is definetly the number 12, an interpretation of Mozart’s La ci darem la mano. I mean from Sheryl Crow and Luciano Pavarotti. If it wouldn’t say her name on the cover, you would never guess, that this is Sheryl. Her voice is blending with Pavarotti’s in a perfect mix.
This is actually, what I like about this CD. The artist perform a kind of music, they would never dare to try otherwise. I mean, who would connect the Kelly’s to the Ave Maria? Or that one of the biggest tenors of our time performs 'Living like horses'?

Advantages: Pleasant pop music Disadvantages: Some dodgy vocals, a few lacklustre numbers
...interesting music and pleasing melodies.
That the tracks are quite varied in terms of style is the saving grace of "Comme si de rien n'etait" (it translates as "As if nothing had happened") because Carla Bruni just doesn't have the talent to get away with a whole album of the typical French ingénue songs that singers like Francoise Hardy or Jane Birkin could manage. This album is by no means perfect but it is highly listenable and I would recommend it as an interesting diversion that might just change your opinion of French pop.
