Advantages: Clear, charming and soulful voice Disadvantages: She is young, talented, pretty and intellegant and I'm jealous
I received SecondNature, KatherineJenkins?s second album, as a Christmas present. The past year has been very successful for this welsh songstress. Her debut album, Premiere reached number one in the UK classical charts in April of 2004 and stayed there for eight weeks. SecondNature was released on 18th October 2004 hit the number one slot in January of this year.
KatherineJenkins rose from relative obscurity to become one of British?s rising stars. She?s blonde, slim and beautiful (as a glimpse at the cover will reveal); she?s intelligent (9 Grade A GCSEs, 4 A levels, an Honours degree in Music); she?s young (only 24 ? what a potential future she could have) and she?s enormously talented (this mezzo soprano has a brilliant, crystal-clear and versatile voice).
Accompanied by the National Youth Choir of Wales, Katherine sings ...
Advantages: The best album yet, fanastic choice of songs Disadvantages: Alubum cover picture does not do Katherine any justice.
To date this is my favourite KatherineJenkins album. It has a great mx of both classical and modern songs on it. My favourite being (Quello Che Faro) Sara Per Te (Everything I Do) I Do It For You. This is the Bryan Adams song from the film Robin Hood Prince of Thieves. It has rewritten in Italian and sound fab. Bryan Adams plays the guitar during the song. I also believe that he took the pictures for the album cover. Hopefully this album will win her, a third classical Brit Award in 2007.
The track list is as follows:-
1. (Quello Che Faro) Sara Per Te (Everything I Do) I Do It For You
2. Nella Fantasia
3. Chanson Boheme (from Bizet's Carmen)
4. Green Green Grass Of Home
5. O Mio Babbino Caro
6. Be My Love
7. The Flower Duet (featuring Kiri Te Kanawa)

KatherineJenkins has an amazing voice. She is increasingly becoming one of the worlds favourite opera stars. Whilst singing in a concert in germany, there was suddenly a massive crashing noise, the audience began to duck with the thought of gunfire, but to there suprise the noise was coming from the roof, whilst singing the last note of o holy night ( a masterpiece on the album) she had shattered part of the chandelier and it had fallen to the ground below. not one did she stop she just carried on going.
That explains a little about her voice. the album consists of
01 Time To Say Goodbye
02 Caruso
03 Va pensiero
04 House of No Regrets
05 O sole mio
06 En Aranjuez con tu amor
07 Seguidilla
08 Song to the Moon
09 Vide cor meum
10 Calon Lan
11 Hymn to the Fallen
12 Barcarolle
