...To say that I enjoy reading would be the understatement of the Century. There is something wonderful about picking up a book and being transported to a whole new world where anything really is possible. Although I have my usual genres I stick to, I do like to dip in and out of others as a pleasant change. I also like to sample the work of authors I am unfamiliar with, and when I was faced with 'The Things That KeepUs Here' by Carla Buckley, it came to my attention that I had neither heard of the author nor did I tend to read the apparent genre much. I was sure that this was definitely going to be quite an interesting read for sure!
Despite not knowing anything about the book or the author, I could make my mind up about the cover straight away. On the front of the dark book you can see nothing more than a hand, the side of a head...

Advantages: Keep up to date in all things glossy and shiny! Disadvantages: No real news. Just pretty pictures!
...at the moment and where to get them from. Usually they talk about the high end market which is unrealism to people like me. £5000 on a jacket. Yes of course, I shall buy that tomorrow, in fact, I will buy one in every colour?. Oh sorry, i have woken up now! However from time to time they do throw in the 'normal' high street name which makes it more accessible to the non-celebrities of the world.

HELLO! Have their own award-winning beauty editor, Nadine Baggott who talks about the latest beauty products and best buys that have gone on sale. Once again these are usually high end products but it is interesting to see what it new on the shelves. They also have a weekly health article, this week they cover sleeplessness and how to combat it.
COOKERY
Something you might not expect from a gossip, celebrity magazine. There are usually 4 or 5...

You could have a best mate one day and then the next you won't and just because you didn't pay him what you owed him. Now Skinner's shown that through a Dealer but still it's the same, everything's about money and if we were out there doing responsible things that keepsus amused and isn't about money then we wouldn't be out there dragging ourselves into the trouble we do whatever the trouble is.
