This is the tale of Jim, who is a whippet. And his two companions (the humans who mistakenly believe that they own him) Terry and Monica Darlington. And their "brave" decision, on retiring, to take a canal narrowboat the Phyllis May, all the way from Staffordshire to Carcassonne in Southern France.
Everyone told them that they were mad, or brave, or stupid or brave in a madly, stupid way. The upshot of this advice was that they were more intent on making the trip.
Jim has bad habits. The kind of bad habits that endear dogs to people who are not their owners. His habit of begging in pubs is told by Terry in a fashion that is both highly amusing and original in tone.

I am terrible at stopping myself from buying baby toys, I just can't resist them. I try my best to not even go to the baby section of shops now as I know I will come away with at least one item to spoil Baby Hope with.
This week though it was an exception. A year ago this week I was told I was having a miscarriage only to find out it wasn't afterall but since then we have been so grateful for baby Hope, we felt as though we were living on borrowed time until she finally arrived and so with the anniversary of this horrible day my husband and I decided to celebrate the fact that Hope turned out okay so bought several toys for Hope and a bottle of wine for ourselves.

Advantages: James Spader playing a beer drinking tuff guy that sounds like Elvis. Disadvantages: Eveything but the credits.

"Keysto Tulsa" is just plain old bad. It's difficult to try to grind through trying to express its essence, because it does not have much of one. It is not easy to sit and talk about a film that is filled with no talent and is just plain old boring. That is probably the worst thing about this film, on top of all the uninspired storytelling and the over the top acting found in it.. it is just plain old boring. The only thing that is mildly entertaining about it is the presence of James Spader who plays Ronnie Stover (the bad fellow of this flick.. who is involved with the revenge part of the film) who we now can ...
