...This double CD was given to me as a gift and because I only recognised a few of the tracks, I wasn't sure what to expect. However, I was pleasantly surprised by this compilation. It is mixed by DJ EZ (who was recently nominated for a MOBO award)and mixed is the operative word. The tracks are varied and have been blended together expertly to create one of my favourite compilation CDs. The CD is a mix of underground garage tunes and features artists such as NnG, Todd Edwards, Valerie M, Second Protocol and Robbie Craig. If I had seen this CD in a shop I probably wouldn't have looked at it because the cover design is extremely male-orientated, if not tacky. The cover itself doesn't reflect the CD so don't be fooled (unless you like that kinda thing). My one complaint is about the 'intros' at the start of each CD... Read review

...three great mix cds in one pack and mixed by the legendary dj hype. this cd is full of every style of drum n bass. this is a great way of hearing all styles in one mix set, from jump up to jazzy, dark and ragga and more soulfull tracks. not many people mix all style when djing drum n bass but hype does it and does it well. best thing of all they decided not to have an mc rapping over the tune and this is a great advantage to this cd and just lets the music do the talking. there are also a few vocal tracks on this cd aswell. there are so many styles/genres of drum n bass aspecially in britain [home of dnb] this cd really does all justice. there has some great exclusives versions of tracks on this as well which makes it even more special. everyone should have a copy of this for sure and even people that dont like drum n bass... ...I have had Dj Hypes drum and bass arena album since around christmas last year, and i am still not bored of it. It has a lot of different artists on it, with a range of different types of drum and bass. I love to listen to this album when driving, tidying the house, or just doing nothing. it is a really good back round album when i have friends round too, as everyone enjoys the music it has on it. I also love to dance to the songs on this album, but i do not let many people see me doing that !!! I would really reccomend this album to anyone, it could suit many peoples music taste. It is also pretty good value for money, seeing as there are so many artists on it.... Read review
