OK, well it may be their fourth best, but I haven't heard Pablo Honey yet. That doesn't mean that I don't like Kid A though. Far from it.
Initially this album is pretty hard to get into, and I may have given up on it had it not been by Radiohead. I'm pretty glad I stuck with it though, as most of the tracks are quality. In fact, there is only one (Treefingers) that I skip past on a regular basis. Aside from that, gems such as Motion Picture Soundtrack, Idioteque, How to Disappear Completely, Everything in its Right Place, and The National Anthem, grow on you pretty quickly.
Somewhere I heard rumour of another album to follow this at some point this year. I hope this is true as I'd like to see what Radiohead will do next.
In short, despite the initially bizarre electronic music that Radiohead have knocked up this time, anyone willing to give this album time will find that it is a worthy (but not quite as good) successor to classics OK Computer and The Bends.

Welcome to Ciao Dave, I used to be a big fan of Radiohead, back to the days of "The Bends". I think I remember someone here at Ciao wrote an opinion on the forthcoming album. Well all the best to your Ciao writing career, regards, Modena

Advantages: Different to other albums, has a slight aphex twin feel to it. Original and epic.Radiohead albums should not be judged instantly but given a few weeks to appreciate Disadvantages: Might take a little getting used to. A dark album

Review of Kid A - Radiohead
Advantages: Brave new experimental direction from the Radiohead lads. Disadvantages: Difficult to get into at first, competely different to OK Computer.
