...the Glenn Miller Army Air Force Band. After the liberation of France, the band was due to fly to Paris on the 16th December, but he wanted to get there early to make preparations for the concerts. On the 15th December 1944, Glenn Miller, and Norman Baesell, together with their pilot, took off to Paris from an airfield near Bedford. They were never seen again. Five days later, an official bulletin was issued to say that Major Glenn Miller was "missing in flight, presumed to be lost". On Christmas Eve that year the world learned that Glenn Miller was dead. ...! - - Bling (Confessions Of A King) - Good track that offers another side to the band. It is slower than the other songs but seems to pack a punch just the same. Great song to drive to! - This River Is Wild - This track portrays all the Killers good points and heightens them to a new level. It takes you on a roller-coaster ride like i stated earlier. It is a quality track that will be a classic for years to come. --- A real let down for the album is: - My List - It's far too slow and feels as if its an effort to actually go and listen to the whole song. (But not to worry as some quality songs are just around the corner!) --- The album i bought had two bonus tracks attached ('Where The White Boys Dance' & 'All The Pretty Face'). Advantages: Feels like I'm back in Vegas! Guitar heavy anthems

...of the album and indeed I was for most of my first listening to the album. Again, Flowers and the rest of the band had adjusted their tone and their music to show how versatile they can be. Not a lot to say about this track that can do it justice in a review. 13. Where The White Boys Dance Don't be that jealous girl. Just telephone you need an hour or two A 'bonus track' on a limited edition of 'Sam's Town' although I have yet to see a copy without this track on! Like the 2 predecessors to this track, Where the White Boys Dance starts off very soft, very innocent and melodic. A simple guitar rifts starts this song and their piano resurfaces again. This track is a very gentle track and it again manages to convey that The Killers are one of the most versatile bands in music at the moment, both lyrically and musically. The simplicity...
