KingCreole,
Is possibly my favourite of all the Elvis movies, it really shows Elvis at his best, a young raw talent. maybe not the best actor the world has ever known, but a breath glimse at a talent that had the world all shook up.
The film was made before Elvis put to much faith in the scandolous colonel Tom Parker.
Quite a dark dramatic movie for Elvis compared to the more cheesy romantic beach slush that was churned out at later dates.
In this movie, Elvis plays a young rebel character Danny Fisher, a struggling singer who has a knack for ending up on the wrong side of the law and a nasty habit for brawling.
coming to terms with the death of his mother, Danny vows not to get into any more trouble and manages to land a gig singing at a hip nightclub in the French Quarter of New Orleans for local mobster Maxie Fields ...
Advantages: Wonderful casting, could see it again and again. Disadvantages: Some seats, not having a great view.
be aware if you are in those seats, you are limited on your view.
Oliver opens with the Food, glorious food and your eyes dart all over the stage looking, watching and just captured by the amount of boys on the stage and how they appear from nowhere. (Not give away the details). Oliver then asks for more.
Oliver is then placed for sale and the scene between Mr. Bummble and his to be wife the Widow Corney entertains on both adult and children level.
Oliver then sold to the undertaker, Sowerberry, who's performance chilling and yet kind.
Oliver captures your heart with his rendition of "Where is love." Oliver, on his own, on the stage, just one small boy singing his heart out and tearing yours out.
Oliver then runs away and then the stage erupts with the Artful Dodger, what a little power house he is? Dodger commands and covers ...
carried out by our local dealer, Brighton Honda. Indeed, they are equally as costly to run on this score as my much more sophisticated diesel Accord. All of their competitors would be cheaper to run on this score - especially the Fords and Vauxhalls.
Even this £12,000, top of the range, Jazz falls into a lowly group 3 insurance band. It will not cost therefore even a newly qualified driver an arm and a leg to insure.
Let the "fun" begin! You want to know what this car is like to live with and to drive and be driven in??.
THE EXTERIOR:
STYLING 6 /10: A very subjective category here.
Well let's face it, there are not many superminis that you would want to look twice at and the Jazz is really no exception. It is neatly styled and obviously purposeful, although the bottom of the range models do look very basic with their plastic ...
