Advantages: Beautiful and atmospheric Disadvantages: Too short and not for everybody
of classical with occasionally a bit of folk and sometimes some (very) soft rock, all depending on the artist(s)/composer(s). This isn't necessarily what it is, but I feel it's a good way to give you an impression of what Celtic music is.
This album consists of what is dubbed as "The Celtic Collection". I don't really know any other Celtic music other than what's on this album so this may be some of the best Celtic tracks every composed. It is a compilation of some truly impressive tunes from some great artists.
THE TRACKS
1 - James Galway & Phil Coulter - Callin Na Gruaige Baine - The intro to the album is a slow, calm, with quite strings and some calm but good singing. As the title suggests, this isn't in English but that adds to the effect. What you'll find is that some of the better tracks are those that don't have English lyrics ...

As another year draws to a close and the Christmas madness begins as sure as sure can be you know you the music store shelves will be packed full of compilations. Restrospective compilations are still the flavor de jour, and R&B Collection 2009 (As it is oddly entitled) features a round up of all the tracks that did the business in yes, 2008.
What we have is a nicely packaged, although the cover is a little bog standard, 2 CD set with a bonus DVD featuring 15 music videos. This will undoubtedly set this one apart from a lot of the field. But more importantly on a compilation such as this one, how does the track listing measure up! I will now take you on a whirl wind tour of the 40 tracks featured on the album commenting on some of the more stand out efforts. Advantages: chilled out happy tunes Disadvantages: variety of artists not just R&B
I loved this CD collection, it has a fantastic range of artists on it, which allows for the CD to appeal to all diffent types of individuals, it says that it is am essential R&B collection yet i woul say that some of the variety of songs are also Hip Hop and possibly slightly dance tracks. Fantastic for singing along to when your in the car, exspecially in this nice weather. Containes a mix of various tracks from present day, back to the some oldies such as Bobbi Brown, which is always good to hear from time to time. Has some classic's from Destinys child to Whitney Houston and Alicia Keys, this CD collection gives off a positive happy vibe, which is what we all need when the summer is on its way. ...
