'm also not sure why I decided to use Loreal Casting to do so, but I did, and I'm really glad of it. This was the first brand of dye that I used, and I was really pleased with the results. I have since tried other brands - Garnier Nutrisse and I think one by Wella - but I've always came back to this brand, as I find it's the easiest to use and gives the best and longest lasting results. ~~About the dye~~ This hair dye is a tone on tone gel colourant and contains no ammonia. It promises to give Natural looking colour and ultra-shiny highlights. Review of L'Oreal Casting Creme Gloss

Casting Creme Gloss

Advantages: Lovely hair colour, shimmery, smooth. Conditioning.
Disadvantages: Application is a little annoying, price.

-permanent line of L'Oreal casting crème as I only ever dye my hair semi-permanently as I am too scared of something going wrong and me hating my hair forever. As my hair is so long (it would take probably 5 years to grow the colour out! Eeek!) since Ciao doesn't have a separate product for semi and permanent this is why my review is in this category. Please don't mistake it for permanent, in fact, I'm not even sure you can get excellence crème in permanent; you'll have to do some snooping! I bought this product at boots and it's normally £6.98, which I think is a little pricey for a semi-permanent hair colour but it was a pound of so I got it for £5.98. More Than Just A Fleeting Wisp of Glory

Advantages: Richard Burton, Julie Andrews, Robert Goulet, Alan Jay Lerner's lyrics, Frederick Loewe's music-most of it.
Disadvantages: Some shopworn, predictable tunes and weak orchestrations.

, 'What Do the Simple Folk Do?' in which they wonder how non-royals deal with marital ennui such as theirs. It's deceptively lighthearted in tone, ends on a sombre note, and suggests the beginning of the end for Arthur and Guenevere. My fondness for 'Camelot,' especially this original Broadway cast recording, may stem from my childhood exposure to it. Having now understood many of the situations portrayed in the play, I've come to appreciate the plot more. Yet, I've grown more critical of the music, too, beautiful as some of it remains. The spare and skeletal orchestrations serve only to shadow the singing lines, without offering any interesting emotional or musical counterpoint in the harmony, unlike the music of that towering genius on Broadway, Richard Rodgers ('The Sound of Music,' 'Carousel,' etc.).
