It has a residency at club mission in leeds once a month, but it has club nights all over the country, and beyond, including Europe and of course, Ibiza. In its residency at club mission, Leeds, the night is always sure to generate an amazing atmosphere, with great music, renown DJs, and sexy dancers.

The CD
----------
The music itself consists of a mix of vocal, funky and electro house music, which is typical of the style of music played at kissdafunk. Generally speaking, CD One, mixed by Rob Tissera is more funky house, while CD Two is more electro dominated.

The club is dominated by house music, and has an upfront house music policy, which consists mainly of funky, vocal or progressive house, and increasingly elements of electro house. House music has experienced a real explosion in the past few years, which has corresponded with a decline in other types of dance music such as Trance (in particular the gatecrasher brand.) Many clubs are now accomodating this new move toward house music.
This CD represents a landmark in the history of the kissdafunk brand, as it is their first CD and therefore represents a milestone in the development of the club.

The thing I really like about this CD is that many of the tunes are less commercial, but well known to genuine clubbers. Far too many dance music CDs today, consist of the same songs in a different order. Take Ministry of Sound CDs such as "Clubbers Guide" and "Funky House Sessions." Many of them contain the same overplayed, commerical tracks, such as "Fedde Le Grand - Hands up for Detroit" and "Bodyrox - Yeah Yeah." Although theres no doubting these are good tunes, they get overplayed far too much on commercial radio and loose their quality for true clubbers. For clubbers who like their music a little harder, its difficult to get hold of those rarer tracks, the ones that we never hear on the radio, but always generate an amazing atmosphere on the dancefloor. Those tracks which are unique and exclusive to the dancefloor. For me, one of those tunes is Axwells remix of Sunfreakz - Counting down the Days, which is an amazing tune and is featured on this CD. As soon as the crowd hears that bassline, the whole club comes truly alive! This CD is full of those less commercial tunes. Those tunes which are quite commerical, are presented as unique remixes or mixed with other songs.
The CD has a great selection of tunes, which makes it the perfect party CD (if you like this kind of music) and great to listen to when you are getting ready for your night out, deciding what you're wearing, putting on your make-up or having a few pre-drinks, this CD makes a great accompanient.
The Price is similiar to competitors CDs prices, at between £8 and £14. Ministry of Sound and Hed Kandi CDs are priced similiarly, and in my opinion you are getting much more from this CD than any Mos or Hed Kandi CD.
Its a lovely cover design, I like that the logo really stands out and shows off the brand, and its colourful and adds to the funky feeling of the club.
