Advantages: nice hits , nice lyrics , great features
Disadvantages: a little girly in some tracks

...This is the second album of the newst rap and R&B artist on the market , and it had more succes than others that were released with it. This version of the album Akon Deluxe Platinum Edition of Konvicted was released on August 28, 2007 and October 1 in UK . It featured three new songs including the hit single "Sorry, Blame It on Me". The new album will also include "Rush" featuring Kardinal Offishall which will appear in the summer blockbuster Rush Hour 3. The third song is a remix to "Don't Matter", which is the remix featured in the video near the end. The new Konvicted includes a documentary of Akon where visits his homeland, Senegal. Music videos of the hit singles "Smack That", "I Wanna Love You" and "Don't Matter" came with the set as well. (happy now? )... Read review

Advantages: Catchy music even if you dont like gansta rap
Disadvantages: Not enough songs on album

...Well what can i say about this album well its good but why is it good i hear you ask, well simply because of akon unique voice very very different from other artists and as you probably know from reading my past killers review i like unique voices. But this is akons review so here we go. 1. SHAKE DOWN This song is very up-tempo a lot of shouting but very good once you get into it. To be honest (which is what im meant to be) i dont really understand what it is about but its well written and performed which Akon is very good at doing. 2. BLOWN AWAY A different track for track 1 its a bit slower and its about basicaly be careful in the hood or ghetto or you will be blown away. In the most of his songs he states how hard it is growing up where he did and how hes made something of his life and this one is just about that... Read review

...Konvicted is Akon's 2nd album. It has many of his tracks which have reached in the top 40 and i think that this album is better than his previous album because it has a lot more variety in it. Many people who did not listen to Akon, if they listened to his album then there would definitely be a track in it that would appeal to them. His hit track, Don't Matter, is featured on it along with a remix of it. Other songs such as Sorry Blame It On Me, Smack That and I Wanna Love You are also featured in this album. His songs' lyrics have more depth in this album and the person listening to it can relate to them. I think that this is a great album and everybody should buy it, especially those people who don't normally listen to Akon as they will be pleasantly surprised.... Read review
