A couple of years ago i'd be suprised if many people had heard of Korn in the UK as I had been listening to them since they started and bought this album to start off my Korn obsession. Now they are massive amongst heavy music circles! Korn are the real originators of nu-metal and their extremely unique style of music has an attraction to it for any hard music fan. Korn are probably the best band around today as they always have something different to offer and everything they have done to date is amazing. This album cleverly titled "Korn" has to be my favourite of the 4 albums that they have to date and it is also their first. All songs on the album are great and they are another band that capture their emotion in their music which proves for some amazing results in tracks such as "need to" and "clown" The tracks on the album are very different and there is no samey tracks at all. All in all i'd have to say that this is one of the best CD's I have in my collection and it is definately a must and no mistake!

Advantages: KoRn are a great band with good lyrics and musical talent. Disadvantages: a couple of the songs sound similar but theres no harm in that as they are still good.

Advantages: Lots of excellent consistent hard and soft rock tracks! Disadvantages: There are none if you like weird rock music. If you don't then this is probably not you're type of music
