As I browsed the store for different albums, My eyes settled on the word Korn in big letters and my mind flashed back to a review I had read earlier in that week. I decided on impulse that I would listen to the review and buy it. I went straight back home and played it straight away I soon started tapping my foot along to the beat of the music and listened to the words being sung. I then realized this band wasn't about screaming in growling voices in which all my friends had said rock/nu metal music was about, but more about the issues the lead singer and gone through as a child. I must have played it constantly for months. I had learnt all the lyrics to the songs and had invested in the 2nd album 'issues' within a couple of weeks. Since then I have followed Korn and seen them several times. I have brought every album of theirs and each one rocks BUY THEM ALL! I promise there will be at least 1 song on there that you will love if not all of them. This is my all time favorite album and its amazing the amount of different ranges of groups listen to them. From rockers to poppers and even rappers. Its well-created verses that make you think about certain issues and catching bass and guitar rifts with the occasional appearance of bagpipes. Don't let that put you off the bagpipes have been well added it and make the songs complete. All round everyone should buy this album - I got my mum listening to it when she goes to work :)

No offence but it might be worth finding out a little more about the band. The second Korn album was actually Life Is Peachy, then it was Follow The Leader before Issues was released. Yes the first Korn album was good, but you haven't really explained anything about any od the tracks. Blind, the first track, as an example, is an absolute classic Korn track with a fantastic build up.

Advantages: KoRn are a great band with good lyrics and musical talent. Disadvantages: a couple of the songs sound similar but theres no harm in that as they are still good.

Advantages: Lots of excellent consistent hard and soft rock tracks! Disadvantages: There are none if you like weird rock music. If you don't then this is probably not you're type of music
