Advantages: Larg storage, large and clear screen. In-built fm transmitter, ebooks, long battery life Disadvantages: Very buggy software, often frustrating, unresponsive without updates
The stylish box that holds the Onda VX787 partially reassured me that I had bought well. As I open the box the player itself looks stylish but maybe a bit large. However a large touchscreen makes using the interface easier. As I hold down the power button I am greted with a nice opening animation however what then is shown to me is largely dissapointing. The default settings on the player for background and language are in chinese and the chosen background is ghastly. However after changing these settings the player looks good.
I try to use the player but find it very frustrating as the touchscreen is very slow and unresponsive. I almost began to think that my player was broken. However I then used the internet to update my player. Once I had done this I was much happier with the player. Transfer of files onto the player is very simple ...

Advantages: Easy to remove Disadvantages: Hard to apply, smudges, clumpy, gloopy
The credit crunch is sadly having an effect on my make-up bag. On my most recent shopping trip to Boots, I needed new mascara but instead of heading to the lovely, glossy premium brand counters, I headed to the more economical looking brands. In the past when my purse has been somewhat light, I?ve always gone for Rimmel mascaras as I find they do the job satisfactorily. This time however, in my bargain-hunting mode, I spotted Boots 17 VaVa Voom Mascara for the same price - £5.86 for 8ml ? but with a free eyeshadow palette. SOLD!
I can most certainly say that if it wasn?t for the fact that I was on such a tight budget, I would never have even noticed this mascara. The packaging is cheap and tacky looking; it has a chunky black tube with silver and purple writing and patterns all over it. The lid has silhouettes of people dancing ...
Advantages: Price, Compatibility, Durable Disadvantages: Chinese player, interface difficult to use at first
Introduction
I received my Onda VX777LE about 2 months ago from China - now don't be put off by the fact that it's from so far away when thinking about buying it - choose a reputable seller and you'll be fine! My player came with free postage and packing too so it wasn't hugely expensive to get posted to me! I did, however, get postal insurance on it for about £5, just in case.
Before buying this product, I did plenty of research watching different reviews on this player on youtube - don't be fooled by the name, I found out that the VX777 and the VX777LE are two VERY DIFFERENT players, with completely different interfaces.
First Impressions
The VX777LE came in a pretty box with 2 compartments - one with the player and one with the other bits (usb cable, heaphones, instructions etc). Unfortunately, the instructions were ...
