Advantages: Great storyline if you can get into it Disadvantages: Very muddled and too descriptive
Labyrinth ? Katte Mosse
Lost in the Labyrinth
Always on the lookout for a new and great read, I came across this slightly large and daunting looking book when my friend was clearing out her cupboards. She had recently brought it, though could not get into it. I took a quick glance at it and figured that to use a quote too much; you can never judge a book by its cover ? so I took the leap and brought it home.
Taking a closer look before I opened the pages to read, I felt that the book was very intriguing not only in its synopsis on the back but also in its look. Although a very basic look of patchy blue colour with a gold labyrinth on the front and some symbols down the side, it really seemed to pull me into it (and I hadn?t even started reading!). I checked the back before beginning (no not to ruin the end!) to find that it was just ...
Advantages: A classical album I can enjoy Disadvantages: Area's are a bit repetative, influences of Tubular Bells felt frequently
It's a big year for Mike Oldfield, releasing his first album in three years and in doing so storming into the number one spot of the classical albums list for several weeks, then achieving the number 9 spot in the popular album chart a few weeks later. Later on this year he regains the rights to the original Tubular Bells with views to rescoring the piece; But for now The Music Of The Spheres is his focus, and it's doing phenomenally well with a highly unexpected audience.

Whether or not it's true is not for me to say, but having researched buddies ...
Advantages: Very good story , alternative version of Holy Grail legend Disadvantages: NA
I just finished reading The Labyrinth by Kate Mosse which is indeed a good read. When I first bought it, I was drawn to it because of its connection with the Holy Grail. Also, it's funny that it's written by someone with a name same as the glamor model(Kate Moss).
Similar to the Da Vinci code, it is a fiction about the Holy Grail but it takes a different angle on the matter and focuses more on the medieval Europe with accounts of the Holy Crusades.
The first 200 pages(only 1/3 of the book) could be boring as the crucial hint does not appear until half way of the book. When reading it, you keep switching between events that occur 800 years ago and in the present time-but the past and the present characters are connected!!!
Having sustain the first half, in the second half you will find yourself drawn to it. Personally, I ...
