...would be hard to resist this early Kool & The Gang work as they show how they can build up tunes up on some the most exciting drum creations, which is complemented by the way that Kool gets down to the deep bass work to assist it in the best way he can. ...I have a somewhat eclectic taste in music and it's not unusual to find Guns N Roses in my CD player at the same time as boy band music and cheesy 80's pop. I'm particularly fond of Soul, Motown & Funk with a healthy dollop of Disco thrown in. My latest addition to my CD collection, in the disco/funk feel at least, is The Kool & The Gang Collection and it was an absolute bargain at £2 from my local Somerfield store, it can also be found on Amazon for £5.99 new or from 59p Used. ...Formed in Canada in 1988 Jim Creeggan, Kevin Hearn, Ed Robertson, Tyler Stewart, and formerly Andy Creeggan and Steven Page are the Barenaked Ladies. Lots of people get into discover the Barenaked Ladies in their search for great music. Some find them accidently whilst looking for something else entirely. Either way, the Barenaked Ladies music has a broad range of alternative rock and appeals to an extremely varied demograph. This, their greatest hits album is a great collection of their best work (obviously). It will appeal to current fans for obvious reasons, but it's such an easy appealing listen that many music fans who've never heard the group will enjoy it too.
