Arrival
Although we were moving from a hotel not that far away we arrived by taxi as we had lots of luggage. Our taxi was greeted by one of the many bellboys on duty outside helping both the arriving and departing guests, they took charge of the luggage, gave us receipts and told us to call the number on the receipt once we were in our room and wanted our luggage delivered. I have always loved Belinda Jones books, and I have read near enough all of her books: I Love Capri, On The road to Mr Right, The Paradise Room, Out of the Blue, The Love Acadamy, Cafe Tropicana and now Divas LasVega. The only book of hers I have left to read is The California Club (and the new book which she has coming out soon).
I'm not quite sure where Divas LasVegas comes in the line of her books, it could very possibly be one of, if not, her first book.
I loved all of Jones' previous books, they have all been amazing, and have really captured my imagination, this book was very different and I must say, it isn't the best of her work.

My husband and I have just gotten back from a trip to LasVegas and chose the MGM hotel to stay at so this forms my review.
The MGM is located right on the strip (LasVegas Boulevard) right by Tropicana Avenue so fairly near one end of the strip. It is located close to the New York New York hotel and there is actually a walkway which joins the two hotels to give you easy access to both.
The hotel in its present form was opened at the end of 1993. Most of the hotels in LasVegas have a certain them that they like to promote through each of their casinos such at NY NY, Paris, The Venetian etc. The MGM in my opinion is not as heavily themed as the other hotels but follows along the lines of old Hollywood/California movies stars etc with the feature of the MGM lion and movie star photos in the bedrooms.
