Advantages: Amitabh Bachchan in a double role Disadvantages: Some of the fight scenes drag on a bit
meet friends such as pubs and clubs so historically they went to the cinema. That is decreasing more and more with the advent of DVDs and India becoming more and more western and nightclubs popping up in urban areas. When Don first came out in 1978 the film had a huge captive audience. When the remake of Don was released last year in 2006 I wonder if it got even a fraction of the audience that the original did. The biggest difference these days to the Bollywood film industry is that you can watch Bollywood films in cinemas across the UK and other countries where there are people who want to watch them. 30 years ago you rarely had the chance to watch an Indian film down the local Odeon cinema hall!
THE MUSIC
?Yeh Mera Dil Pyaar Ka Deewana? (meaning my heart is a fool to love) is undoubtedly one of the best songs in this film ...
Advantages: An excellent story. Disadvantages: None
Having read The Godfather on numerous occasions it occurred to me that I had always assumed that Puzo had not written any other novels and I had never sought out any of his other work. I am now extremely glad I have.

After sunning ourselves for 2 weeks in Magaluf, Majorca it's taken me a while to get back into the swing of everyday life in Blighty but I think I'm almost there (worst luck).
Well it's been almost a week since we got back and so I thought it was about time I put my review writing cap on once again and what better to review than the hotel we stayed in on our holiday.
The Don Juan Hotel is part of the Hoteles Saint Michel group and is a 3 star hotel situated in the quieter area of Magaluf. It was built in 1972 and extensively renovated during the winter of 1999 and has 182 rooms in total (161 twins and 21 single) which stretch over seven floors.
We had booked our 10 day holiday through ...
