Advantages: video, no mixes! Disadvantages: weak B-side
...Girl Thing are trying to be the Spice Girls. So what - does it matter? They obviously can't and won't be as big, but what's the harm in trying. LastOne Standing is reminiscent of Wannabe in both the song itself and the video. Why should it matter? It's still a great pop song. The video which is included is great too. The B-side 'Extraordinary Love' is not as memorable or catchy unfortunately, in fact the opposite. Hopefully they will keep on going and relase some more fantastic pop songs like LastOne Standing though because I think they could make a great album....

Advantages: A very Rasmus-esque album so if you like Rasmus it's awesome Disadvantages: Occasionly similar to some of their other stuff
...I bought this album about an hour ago. I listened to the first three tracks and i instantly knew it was something I wanted to review. Their only other album that I have is the sublime Dead Letters, a record that in my opinion deserved better popularity and opinions than it recieved.
At 11 tracks and one bonus it isn't that big but from what i have experienced every song they make is good. This album is no exception.
1. Shot
A track about willingness for self sacrfice, a topic that is done justice by good lyrics and The Rasmus' style of playing guitars and drums. I like this one a lot because there are two melodies, vocal and guitar. Good, punchy track, could easly be a single.
2. Night After Night (Out Of The Shadows)
Fortunately barely related to it's predecesor 'In The Shadows', which was and still is an awesome track...

Advantages: Another Bowie masterpiece Disadvantages: Absolutely none, perhaps it could be longer though
...Okay, if you read my profile you will see that I am a devout David Bowie fan. Writing about his albums could be a hobby for me cos I listen to them 24 hours a day (well almost!) So I'll try to be as unbiased as possible so those of you not so familiar with Bowie's style will perhaps get the urge to become so.
'hours...' is an excellent album. Not in the same league as Aladdin Sane or Ziggy Stardust for example but still good in it's own right. It has a completely different style compared to some of Bowie's previous albums which I guess, for me, is what appeals. You know that when you buy a Bowie album it will be different. He changes styles with every new piece and that's partly what's kept him in the league he's in for the last 30 years.
So for starters I'll give you the track listing for this album:
Thursday's Child
Something...
