This album was their first full-length assault on an unsuspecting general public, and as you would expect it is a total noise fest of heavy industrial drumming, sublimely fast heavy guitars and relentlessly twisted satire.
Songs like "Pineapple Face" which is twisted account of Noreagas involvement with the CIA set to a hard industrial beat that you could just about dance to it was slowed down about 10 times.
Then onto to "Bozo Skeleton" which shows that in the right hands heavy metal can be cool. There is no pretence at hiding whom the targets of the lyrics in this case the moral right "Lyrics warp your children's minds. Just a minute now, that's our job -Your worst enemy's your own kids. Don't talk with them, buy our lies instead."
"Drug Raid at 4am" deals with a police bust on the wrong house, and has Jello taking on the part of a policeman for the most part of the song the line "oops, Sorry Wrong House" always cracks me up. Then "Can God Fill Teeth" which details some very nasty self inflicted root canal work, and even had dental drill sound effects on the chorus.
"Sylvestre Matuschka" again shows that metal in the right hands can be cool, and deals with the darker side of war. In this case a Hungarian explosives expert who got turned on whilst watching trains derail.
The album finishes off with a cover of "There Coming To Take me Away" Which is superb, but almost un-listenable and I dare you to listen to it all the way through. The CD Comes with a Bonus Track "I am your clock" Which is equally un-listenable but wonderful in the same light.
In all a timeless classic but definitely not for the faint hearted. Noisy, fast, Brutal and it just may make your sorry life worth living.
