THE LAST HILL FOR BENNY.

Advantages: BENNY HILL
Disadvantages: NOT LONG ENOUGH

The late great Benny Hill real name Alfred Hawthorn Hill was in my opinon a real comic genius,a true natrual,alway's simmering with mischief and a talant that will be sadly missed. I purchased this DVD for my Father who's a big fan and had to have a quick look. It shows a range of sketch's and gag's which are mainly shot on the streets of New York city. The Benny Hill's World, Look Out New York DVD brought back to me a lot of notalgia to the day's when Benny was on the telly chasing anything with a short skirt and slapping some small old bald guy on the head pretty damn quick. His show was axed by ITV back in the eighty's I think due to women's lib not wanting to be seen as sex object's but this saw the end of his thirysomething career.. . Take a Liberty with big band music

Advantages: Liza Minnelli lovely singing voice
Disadvantages: Not everyone likes musicals

~~ NEW YORK, NEW YORK ~~ Another movie from my musical collection and believe it or not before this viewing I had never seen it before, so I had no idea what to expect. I was also quiet surprised that it was a relatively young film, compared to a lot of good musicals, it opened in America in 1977. I knew the song New York, New York by Frank Sinatra, but I had never heard of the film. ~~ The Film ~~ The movie tells the complicated love story of two very talented people, both having strong personalities and creative talents which don't always gel together.
