Advantages: cheese ( in a good way) Disadvantages: CHEESE
...I got the westlife album at christmas and felt like laughing- me, 14 and getting cheesy pop!?!?!?!? Especially as I prefer bands like Slipknot and KoRn. then I listened to it, and, whether i admit it or not, its qiute good. But no, when I feel sad there's nothing better to do than curl up in a ball with a cup of hot chocolate and listen to a slow sad song by westlife. Anyway, Keith soon left the band (to be briefly replaced by ex-Ugly Kid Joe frontman Whitfield Crane) and spent some time working on a solo release, Died Laughing. In hindsight, you can see it coming, but at the time it was still something of a shock. Gone with all the angst and musical heaviness, he'd produced an album heavy only in the emotional/lyrical sense, but that was very much a typical singer-songwriter fare, closer to David...
