Advantages: Some easy listening music Disadvantages: Dull, disappointing
...This album is the London Philharmonic Orchestra playing the music of Pink Floyd, featuring instrumental versions of tracks from The Wall & Dark Side of the Moon. I bought this being a big fan of Pink Floyd, but was disappointed with it. Although some of the pieces work well, overall it is rather dull & the tracks loose a lot of their impact without the original & imaginative lyrics. Although the haunting melodies still sound nice enough, I personally think this album is a waste of money & would recommend that any fans of Pink Floyd stick with buying the original albums....

...Echoes is an album that was reliesed by pink floyd which consists of a compilation of Pink Floyds best musical masterpieces known to man, such as Another Brick in the wall, the 23 minute experience known to you as Echoes, The Great Gig in the Sky, Set the Controls Fot the heart of the sun and money and thats just on the first disc !!!
as you can tell from this line up it is going to be yet another great guitar soloing CD from Pink Floyd.
The album cover/booklet consists of all of the songs lyrics and some interesting artwork to match.

Advantages: Good Variation Disadvantages: Double Cd, means someone has to change it if you aren't using a multichanger cd player!
...One of Pink Floyd's more 'delicate' albums! A fantastic collection of Roger Water's capabilities and the harmony of David Gilmours guitar playing skills. A live recording giving a wide spectrum of Pink Floyd music, including the controversial 'Shine on you Crazy Diamond', allegedly aimed at the ex floyd member Sid Barratt.
A good variation from the more sombre shine on, to the more division bell style of learning to fly, then on to the blues feeling of Dogs of War.
A double album, nly draw back meaning when you are chilling out to the sounds of Floys, somebody has to change the cd's over, unless you have a cd multi changer I can imagine this being a right pain!!!
One of the later of the Floyd albums that isn't to heavy or sombre like some of the earlier albums of the seventies.
A good all round choice for the Pink Floyd fan, plenty...
