Advantages: loads of tracks Disadvantages: some seem quite dated
A six CD box set which showcases a huge selection of tracks from the drum and bass scene.
Drum and bass has gained huge popularity over the years and has gained alot of followers thanks to its breaknecks speeds of drums, bass and sample ridden madness. These tracks show you what is all about and my gosh there is alot of them.
The tracks span right back to the early nineties and some can sound very dated but interesting nether the less. Producers which stand out on the album are the big heavy weights such as 'Dillinja' with his awesome track 'Grimey' with its huge pitch bending bass synth and the unforgettable vocal sample, this one will keep you going till the early hours. Then there is J-magik, with his equally powerful but more jazzy power rhythms.
If your a fan of this hi speed music you will defenitely find this box set ...
Advantages: They're beautiful. Disadvantages: You'll cry if you have to sell it.
you will need to do some research or find some who knows what there doing if your intending to buy one.
Most basses are all quite lovely things and they are easy to fall in love with and you really feel part of the instrument when you play them. But make sure you really want one as they take up a lot of room and are hard to transport.
They don't really go wrong as all parts and fittings tend to be quite sturdy due to the nature of the beast. But the cheaper ones can split along the joins of the body as the years go by and the glue gives up after many seasons and changes in temperature - beware of radiators. Replacement strings are hugely expensive - though they obviously dont break as easily as a guitar's. And if you have to replace just one after years of wearing the others in it never quite fits in with the old strings.

Advantages: good music,various artists, good value for money, enjoyable Disadvantages: not for absolutely everyone
I have had Dj Hypes drum and bass arena album since around christmas last year, and i am still not bored of it.
It has a lot of different artists on it, with a range of different types of drum and bass.
I love to listen to this album when driving, tidying the house, or just doing nothing. it is a really good back round album when i have friends round too, as everyone enjoys the music it has on it.
I also love to dance to the songs on this album, but i do not let many people see me doing that !!!
I would really reccomend this album to anyone, it could suit many peoples music taste.
It is also pretty good value for money, seeing as there are so many artists on it. ...
