It was my wife?s 40th birthday, so what could I do that was a little special? What about a trip in a hot air balloon? That was out as she doesn?t like heights. What about a weekend in Blackpool? Not an option as it isn?t her favourite place. So I choose Paris. It would be our first time out of the country together and as a couple with no children! And where better than the romantic capital of the world? So I booked the short stay at my local Thomas cook, and we decided on Le meridian hotel in Montparnasse ? Paris.
The hotel was built in 1974 and has 25 floors, with eight lifts (elevators) and 953 rooms.
The hotel offers a range of ?extras? including, 24 hour room service and reception and concierge desk: Fax machine, interconnecting rooms, e-mail facilities, Currency exchange, Laundry/dry cleaning service, Safe deposit ...
Advantages: Good tracks, bonus material Disadvantages: A few too many mixes
Have already rated the previous album (put your hands up vol.1) and many of my points apply to this album aswell. After continually listening to the first album i decided to buy this one aswell and again i was not disappointed.
There is again a brilliant mix of tracks over 3 CD's including several remixes and club mixes such as that of Camille Jonesvs Fedded le Grande-The Creeps (club mix). This i believe to be one of the best but there are 62 other tunes that you will just want to get up and dance to.
Again, as like the previous album there is bonus content on CD1 including 3 awesomw music videos including Fedde Le Grande-Put your hands up and Alex Gaudino-Destination Calabria. This is a really nice touch to the album and makes it a real gem. ...
Advantages: Songs, mix/range of artists Disadvantages: None
a party. The songs are amazing. You have LMC vs U2 with "Take Me To The Clouds Above". I don't know how to define this song, it's not overdone with synthesizers and effects. You have Ultrabeat's uplifting track "Feelin' Fine", Motorcycle's "As The Rush Comes"(quite a moody and dark tune), Lasgo's "Surrender", Kelly Llorenna's powerful vocals on "This Time I Know It's For Real", Northern Heightz's dancefloor hit "Look At Us", Despina Vandi's sensational and rhythmic "Gia", Tiësto's "Traffic" and Tube & Berger and Chrissie Hynde's collaboration on "Straight Ahead". I believe they've got the right mix of artists on here, providing a variety of styles within the "dance" genre. As always, there are some naff tracks on here from one hit wonders or people you've never heard of, but the balance of these and all the artists & songs listed above makes up ...
