Advantages: Good story, nice bright pictures, easy to read Disadvantages: none from my house
Well two weeks into starting school my middle son was excited as he got to bring his first reading book home but the following day he was more excited as he got another book bag which had a few reading books in for him to keep! Naturally when we got through the door we had to sit and read them together.
The cover of this book s red and has a picture of a big gorilla on the left hand side wearing a suit and the title on the right hand side in nice big bright multicoloured letters. The back cover of the book has a blue background and a picture of MrBig and a small monkey standing next to each other. There is also a few words about the story.
The story starts by introducing us to MrBig and telling us about how big he is and how everywhere he goes people always saw him as big and scary, as people found him scary they always ran away ...
Advantages: Amazing for Mr. Big's first album Disadvantages: none
This album was Mr. Big's very first album released in 1989. The first song "Addicted to that rush" involved some frightening guitar duels between super shredding bassist Billy Sheehan and former Racer X guitarist (soon to rejoin Racer X after Mr' Big ended) Paul Gilbert! This song demonstrated just how good Mr. Big was and involved great singing and lyrics from Eric Martin. The all so very famous riff of "Take a Walk" which was supposed to be a Racer X song showed the creativity of the band. One of my favourtie songs from Mr. Big was "Rock and Roll Over" which shows the amazing talent of all the members of the band and shows you some amazing guitar and bass duels! ...
Advantages: Amazing guitar work from Paul Gilbert, very talented band! Disadvantages: None
This band is absolutley AMAZING! It is my favourite band for many reasons! Paul Gilbert, the guitarist in Mr. Big is my all time favourite guitarist and without him, I wouldn't have started playing guitar all day everyday! To me, this band had the most talented musicians in ever! Paul Gilbert and Billy Sheehan were an absolutley amazing guitar duo and changed the way I looked at rock music, guitar technique and song writing. With their harmonised leads and Gilberts blisteringly fast solos, songs like Daddy, Brother, Lover, Little Boy should be a song for all guitarists to have a shot at. Excellent album, Stay Together, one of the extra tracks is really cool, the guitar riff from Green Tinted Sixties Mind is amazing! Brilliant album from an even more brilliant band! ...
