Advantages: Excellent dollar rate, laid back city
Disadvantages: Spent too much shopping and did not get to see the famous New England Fall trees!

We did loose our luggage between Washington and Boston – there was a very tight turn around and we had to clear immigration and recheck our bags in for security reasons on our first point of arrival in the States. Luckily l was forward thinking enough to carry my wash bag, hair bag and so on in my hand luggage so there was no big deal and we got our luggage back in time for morning – no real harm done. We stayed out in Cambridge across the Charles River from Boston City itself – this was very easily accessible from the airport – the T (Boston metro system) took us from the airport changing once directly to the T stop, which happened to be about 2 minutes from the front door of our hotel. night was a combination of songs by The Beatles. I had never heard their music played this way and some of their music I didn't understand before I have since that night. I have watch many Boson Pops TV Programs but nothing can compare with listening to a live performance. The following day I only had a half a day free before my plane left. I went to see the famous Trinty Church and then I went shopping. ~O THE RADISSON HOTEL O~ The Hotel is near the Theater area in Boston. I paid $160.00 USD for my single room. The Lobby was large and there were some Sofas & Chairs to sit in. I don't belong to the Radisson Club so I could not check in there. There were only two front desk people at the check-in desk so there was a few people ahead of me. It took about 15 minutes for me to check-in. I did not see my single room until I ...

In Boston They Sleep in Their Trousers

Advantages: Historic, culturally diverse and not too huge a city.
Disadvantages: Not many, unless you don't like cities, or America, or fish.

of these recreations, and a perfect day to take in the beauty of the Autumn ? sorry - Fall ? colours ? sorry ? colors. A good day too to take some photographs. So I did. Boston is a bit ?European? in the way it feels as you walk around it; at least in comparison to some of the other places I?ve visited over the past few months. As I mentioned a few lines ago it doesn?t boast (if that?s the right expression) a grid system, and while it has its fair share of mirrored tower blocks and giddy-making edifices it also has a fair sprinkling of old buildings...and I use the term ?old? advisedly here.
