Wow what an album,
If you have the original Legend cd you will have some idea of what to expect, but be assured the added disc to this already brilliant album is well worth the £15.99 retail price.

Well the illustration on the front of the Deluxe version of Legend is identical to the normal edition, a picture of a more mature Bob sat looking to the right.
My big moan about this album as well as all other Deluxe Marley Editions is the cardboard box cheap packaging, now this is supposed to be deluxe but by the time you have had the discs in and out of the box a couple of times the edges fray and it look as if you have bought it for a quid from a car boot sale. The track listing comes on a piece of tracing paper loosely put inside the plastic sliding cover that slips onto the box (this contributes to the tattiness of the box) if you loose this you are a bit knackered!

I will let you know that all of these tracks are Bob Marleys most recognised and succesful numbers across the world, no doubt you will have heard alot of these tracks on the radio etc. There really isnt any difference between this disc and the normal album. I am looking forward to tell you about disc 2 so quickly scroll down!

Ok now these songs are crazy, you will never of heard any Marley material whic has been put together and mixed up so well.
Track number 13 is the best version of One Love ever, it starts with Bob singing solo with nothing behind him at all and then kicks in with lots of base into the song. Like all of the tracks on this cd they are all extended versions mixed in different ways, they were actually mixed up just a couple of years after Bob Marleys death as a tribute but were never released.
coming in from the cold is also another great track which has been mixed and dubbed not taking away the true reggae value or the mood that Marley hopes to create.

this is a must buy for any music lover never mind Bob Marley fan.
The best place to look for this is amazon as there are several options to choose from, expect to pay no less than a tenner though definately worth every penny.
There are several deluxe editions now available, im going to review them all but if you need any more input or I havent gave enough info please let me know.

On holiday in Barbados...Marley everywhere.Came home and got my Exodus cassette out for the first time in probably 20years...Marley simply does not date....BM rocks
