He knows exactly what he must do to make his playing heart breaking and emotionally overwhelming. the raga marwa is a beautiful raga already, and in the hands of such an expert one can really see the flowers of the terrifying raga blossom out. his death is a huge loss to the world of indian music and one can do nothing but admire how he did in his life time what generations have not been able to do. his sons, now playing as well as him reflect his humble attitude to his music and his love for his sitar and equally his voice. he may have passed away but his music will never be forgotten and will... ...This is the earliest recordings that you will find legally on compact disc by this well known & loved band from London. These are original demos recorded in July & August 1982. These songs are the very beginning of Alien Sex Fiend. They came before any gigs indeed before anything and they are the very first ever recordings. They led Alien Sex Fiend to playing the legendary Batcave club and they were used as backing tracks to 1930`s horror movies showing in the Batcave`s cinema room . They are the songs that Alien Sex Fiend played at the early shows & on the UK Batcave tour . I tend to listen to this compact disc when I want to have a flashback to my earlier & wild days as a real punk rocker. ...Five years ago I was a Kamelot virgin. Since buying "The Fourth Legacy" I could not imagine a musical life without them. For those who have never heard of Kamelot, they are a melodic metal band from Europe. This means that they are not very well heard of here in the UK. An appropriate comparison, to put Kamelot in a better light, is to put them with the likes of Blind Guardian, Hammerfall, etc. The difference with Kamelot, is that their lead singer, can actually sing. In fact, "The Fourth Legacy" marks Khan's first studio album with the band, and it couldn't be any better. Seriously. From the harmonious beginnings of "New Allegiance" (a purely musical piece) it rolls gracefully in to "The Fourth Legacy" a guitar toting, drum banging rock tune that is possibly the best on the album.
