Review of Sinatra Christmas Album - Frank Sinatra

~ Frank's First Three Years ~

Advantages: Excellent tracks and good covers
Disadvantages: some tracks not so great

Even though I am not a major fan of Frank I have a huge liking for this album and thought I had to tell you about it. I only own this album as I mostly download my songs but as I was going to buy ?Love Ire and Song? but decided on this one instead which i was greatly impressed by. Who Is Frank Turner? I wouldn?t know why anyone wouldn?t have heard of him but for those who haven?t Frank Turner is a Folk song writer and singer who was a former vocalist for the punk band Million Dead. He was born in 1981 and has released several successful albums including the compilation album ?The First Three Years?. Frank became known when he joined Million Dead in 2001 and stayed with them for four years releasing two albums; after they spilt he decided to become solo and has done many shows around London. My Way, the best of Frank Sinatra

Advantages: Contains most of his great hits and covers of other great songs.
Disadvantages: Missing Somewhere Beyond the Sea.

Without a doubt, we all know that everyone enjoys listening to Frank Sinatra. He is one of the, if not the most famous and well recognised names in Jazz music. This CD is brilliant, it has all of his famous hits spread between the 2 CD's including My Way, I get a kick outa you, fly me to the moon, under my skin and mack the knife. It does miss the track somewhere beyond the sea but the rest of the songs make up for it by far. When some people pay over £10's for an album with 12 tracks on, only because 2 or 3 of their favourite songs are on there and you compare it to this album, there is no comparison. In total you are paying for 46 great tracks including covers of other great songs. eg, Yesterday by The Beatles and Mrs. Robinson by Simon and Garfunkel. I am a very big fan of Frank and I cannot encourage you enough to buy this ...
