This French directed action/drama movie was released toward the end of 1994 and was a simple tale of a quiet man who happened upon the wrong place at the wrong time.
**BRIEF PLOT**
Leon, (played by Jean Reno) is a mild mannered French man living in New York City's 'little Italy'. Unbeknown to all around him he is secretly a professional hit man, (or cleaner) working for the local Mafia boss Tony, (played by Danny Aiello), who uses a 'Macaroni' retail store to front his small empire.
Leon has only one friend, which happens to be a houseplant, until he inadvertently opens his door one day and his peaceful existence changes forever.

Advantages: Architecture, history and authentic Spanish feel Disadvantages: A long road from home
León is a city and district in Northwest Spain, far from being typical English tourist territory. But this is where the Spanish tourists from the South of Spain come ! They know what is good for them!
GETTING THERE

The only port you are likely to use from UK is the port of Santander, and you will have a day's drive to get to León.
Airports that will speed you to León are Oviedo or Bilbao.
You could drive up from Madrid, but even the Spanish do not seem to relish that length of drive.
We drove from Oviedo in Asturias, where we were staying - reviews already written on Asturias and Picos De Europa.
It was a pleasant jaunt on the motorway - about 2 hours drive.

Do you want reasonably priced food and drink in London with a strong commitment to ethical sourcing. May I suggest Leon, one of my favourite places for a cool drink, a coffee or a light snack.
Leon is a London mini chain comprising of eight restaurants located all over the capital. I have passed by the Strand branch and ate in the Cannon Street and Ludgate Hill ones. Leon serve a range of simple freshly cooked tasty food and drink from breakfasts to lunch and dinners and all the bits in between. Leon is a very right on chain and have a commitment to using fresh seasonal produce and where possible organic and fair trade. All their meat and eggs are free range and from a traceable source (the website details the exact farms they use).
