Tracks: Grace Kelly Lollipop My Interpretation Love Today Relax Any Other World Billy Brown Big Girl Stuck In the Middle Happy Ending/Over My Shoulder Ring Ring
Review: If this is really what ‘Life in Cartoon Motion’ is like, then I wish I was a cartoon character. This very eccentric man has brought love and happiness to me. As you have worked out from my other reviews, the albums I normally listen to are very emotional. Not here. Mika is just a spreader of happiness. He comments on weird and wonderful people, like himself. Each song on the album is very good. Fortunately I heard his single Grace Kelly. At the time it was very weird and annoying, but the more you heard it the better it got. I loved the extremely high vocals and loved singing along to many of the songs on the album. As I said, they make you just feel happy.
Grace Kelly, was a short and snappy song, and I believe it introduced this man perfectly. All of his music madness can be summed up in this song. His high-pitched voice, his happiness and everything else.
Lollipop is a fun song, one that you will sing over and over again. It again features the Mika qualities and this makes it so good.
My Interpretation is a good song, only that we all have our own tastes and I don’t find the taste in this. It is a good song but not very thrilling to be honest, but then again no one is perfect and you will forgive him when you here…
Love Today is a fantastic song. It just wants to make you love where you are and what you are doing. I can just imagine myself working along to this. It really touches the bottom of your heart. Sooner or later, you’ll be singing along to it.
Relax is another good song. The only not good thing about it is the overuse of high pitchness. In this album, Mika has used his voice differently and well, but this shows a weakness in his song, where he overdoes it a bit. Still good though.
Any Other World is another average sort of song but it fits in well in the album.
Billy Brown is the only song on the whole album, which fails to get to my understanding. The style of the song is normal for Mika but I don’t really get the point. I don’t actually understand it other than the fact that Billy Brown fell in love with a man! But then I expect you would expect a song like this from a quirky sort of fun loving person.
Big Girl also manages to credit obese people in this song. Well, if you want to spread love then spread it to everyone! This is another fun song.
The last three songs to me are quite similar in their approach, just not as good as the above songs.
I love this album so much. It spreads happiness. Anyone who doesn’t like at least one song in this album must be very depressed!
If you want an album just to make you happy, this is it. Just brilliant!
By the way, if anyone does understand anything about Billy Brown, please leave me a comment. Cheers!!

Well each to their own, I guess, but personally I can't stand the fella. Decent review, although perhaps a little more detail on each song would be nice.

Advantages: A wider range of music - amazing! Disadvantages: May not appeal to all tastes. Fantastic tracks mean that other 'not-so-great' songs (not many) are unfairly compared.
