David Gray - Life in Slow Motion
The man with the wobbly head is back with his latest album "Life In Slow Motion". I personally like this album and I think it run a close second to White Ladder which was superb, in fact one of my favorite albums ever!
Lets be honest he isn't everyone cup of tea, but he seems to do well with his type of music, its one of those hate it or love it albums.
Life in slow motion sees David with his own brand of lyrics (which are amazing) and his own unique voice bang out some great tracks, Nice and very easy listening and put a smile on your face.
The album has a more intimate feel to it, trying something exciting and creative and has decided to share with his fans.
My personal favorite tracks are "The one I Love" and "Slow Motion", "Alibi" and "Isn't No Love" is piano ballads that David sings brilliantly, "Lately" is a gorgeous.
The album is a masterpiece of song writing.
Track Listings 1. Alibi 2. The One I Love 3. Lately 4. Nos Da Cariad 5. Slow Motion 6. From Here You Can Almost See The Sea 7. Ain't No Love 8. Hospital Food 9. Now and Always 10. Disappearing World
Each and every song on the album is a cracker...As i said a close second to White Ladder.
How helpful would this review be to a person making a buying decision? Rating guidelines
Sorry for the low rating but what style of music is this? Describe some of the tracks on this CD as well as your own personal opinion as to what makes it a good album. If you ever update please let me know. Just a tip but try having a read of reviews by others to see the info and detail they contain. :-)

Advantages: Melancholy, thought provoking lyrics, beautiful emotionally loaded vocals-just lovely. Disadvantages: Bit mellow and sometimes the songs blend in to each other a bit.
Advantages: Wide range of music; some truly great tracks; consistently high quality Disadvantages: Very few, perhaps only that it is very slighty shorter than previous albums
