DISADVANTAGES
Most of the tracks on the Album are very slow, it seems the more Erasure write the slower they get but not everyone in life has the same opinion as me so here is the track listing with a comment or two about each track.
TRACK LISTING & RUNNING TIME
1. Sunday Girl – running time 4.35 minutes I quite like this one it’s quite catchy and the lyrics are well written and it’s going to be their next single to be released, I don’t think its going to do as well as 'I could fall in love with you' but it will certainly brighten up your day.
2. I Could Fall In Love With You – running time 4.55 minutes This is the first song to be released from this album but I never heard this played on the radio which is a shame because it is quite a nice track and infact my favourite on the album, listening to this reminds me of why I like Erasure’s music so much and it reminds me of similar tracks to their music on their Chorus album.
3. Sucker For Love – running time 3.58 minutes Starts of quite catchy and you think it’s going to be a hit but half way through sounds a bit corny, If I was to compare it to one of their other tracks it would defiantly be ‘Gloria’ from their Wild Album.
4. Storm In A Teacup – running time 4.04 minutes More of a serious track for Erasure, starts off quite ‘Sorrowful’ as the song is about a mum and a dad and a little white lie but then develops into a more of a jig of a song, this has to be my second favourite on the album and I think this would do quite well in the charts if it was to be released.
5. Fly Away – running time 3.21 minutes Not a bad track, even though it’s a short song it does go on a bit and the music is a little annoying and seems to drown Andy singing to me this is a thumbs down.
6. Golden Heart – running time 3.12 minutes Another quick track, sounds a little depressing but it’s not if you listen to the words, again the background music sounds louder then Andy’s singing which is a shame because Andy sounds a little quite on this one.
7. How My Eyes Adore You – running time 3.20 minutes Another track not badly written and a little more catchy then the others, background music is similar to the rest of the album but still not bad, again some of you may love this song.
8. Darlene – running time 3.38 minutes What can I say except it talks a lot about dirty dishes in the sink, Darlene and religion so a bit boring and repetitive and the song goes on and on or seems to.
9. When A Lover Leaves You – running time 3.51 minutes What a boring track, listening to this made me want to turn the volume down. The music in the background seems to repeat itself over and over again so this is a def thumbs down.
10 .Glass Angel – running time 5.03 minutes This track is the longest of the lot, and I’m not sure whether I like it or not, again there is a lot of repeating of the lyrics over and over again, but still its not great but not boring either, I would say its average

EXTRAS
No extras included on the CD I purchased, however if you purchase the deluxe version you get two bonus tracks on ‘Be my Baby’ & ‘I Don’t Know Why’.
The album cover is bright and psychedelic and similar to their other covers, nothing too dim and nothing too special.
This album was released on 21st May 2007 so far the highest chart place for this album was position 29 in the UK charts.
OVERALL OPINION
In all honesty I am an Erasure fan this is why I purchased this album but to be fair it is not their best album, I think the tracks are too slow and too repetitive but out of ten tracks say at a £1.00 a track if you only like 3 or 4 tracks like I do it’s a waste of money. If you are not keen on Erasure or just like one or two of their tracks, save your money and don’t buy this album but do purchase one of their earlier albums such as Chorus or Cowboy, I have enclosed a list of their albums purely for information.

Who/What
It’s that pop duo what have been going for 20+ years again, and I would imagine, unless you’re really rather dim (and we all know you aren’t), then you’ll be aware they’ve got a new album out. Having been purveyors of some of the finest (and most underrated) electropop from the last two decades, Andy and Vince have once more thrown their backs into the task of bringing us a few more tracks to thread between our ears, and here I am, with ... ...to decide whether or not you should be parting with your hard earned spondoolies.
Highlights
As with *any* Erasure album, the main highlight is always going to be Andy’s voice, usually followed swiftly by Vince’s mastery of all things sonic/electronic, as it’s been throughout the history of the group….sod this, you know what? I’ve been a fan of Erasure for nearly the whole 20 odd years, and in my younger days, there were times when I’d break out ...

Quick review of Light At The End Of The World - Erasure
Erasure's new album Light At The End of The World is Andy & Vince back at their synth pop best. More commercial than their recent offerings which will hopefully see tham back in the UK charts where they belong. Best track is the new single Sunday Girl - A sing along catchy tune which lifts your mood. Other personal favourites are Sucker for Love & I Could Fall In Love With You. In all an upbeat, catchy pop album ...

Album Notes
The U.K. duo Erasure have been specializing in sparkling dance pop since 1985, and their 13th full-length release finds them as gaily outrageous and unapologetically commercial as ever, with a collection of soaring, classic synth pop that includes the cascading keyboard overture of the Euro-style "Sunday Girl," the aching-yet-catchy "When a Lover Leaves You," and singer Andy Bell's edgy, remorseful "Storm in a Teacup." The deluxe edition also includes two extra dance-pop tracks, the mid-tempo "Be My Baby" and the disco torch song, "I Don't Know Why."
