It was in 1800 that it got the name 'Philadelphia' and was named after the town of the same name. In 1800 your Philadelphia came wrapped in a silver covered foil package, that looked rather like a block of butter - this of course was full fat. In the UK we had to wait until 1960 for it to come into our shops, and unbelievably it wasn't until 1981 that the foil package was replaced by the plastic tub and then in 1985, Kraft ( the owners of the cheese) brought in a low fat version and in 2001 this extra light version came into being - it was then 'improved' in 2006. Light your way to Tangier

Advantages: Looks expensive
Disadvantages: Self assembly, paint peels off shades.

. So when looking for light fittings it might be worth while checking which bulbs they require before buying as it can add a considerable amount onto the cost. For me it was another £24. Assembly :~ You would think light fittings would not need to be assembled but these do, i have included a picture to show you what they look like out of the box. For me i did not assemble any of it until i fitted it to the ceiling as i thought it would be lighter to hold while wiring and screwing it up. Now i have put light fittings up before so can competently wire a new fitting in place of the old fitting. If your not confident get an electrician to do it better to be safe than sorry. Light Bar lightens your pockets

Advantages: nice chips

Shoreditch and neighbouring Hoxton in London's east end have changed a lot over the past few years, so I have been informed. Once a byword for slums, crime and poverty the area has become a mecca for artists and other creative types, then a trendy place for city workers to live and socialise.
