If you're a fan of Ian Broudie and The Lightning Seeds, then you'll love this album. It was released in 1997 and has a collection of some of their greatest hits, including 'Lucky You', 'Sugar Coated Iceberg', 'The Life of Riley' - which was named after Ian's son, and my personal favourite, 'Pure'. It also has a couple that you may not be so familiar with like, 'Waiting For Today to Happen', and 'Brain Drain'. But there's also one or two that you'll hear and think, 'I didn't know that was The Lightning Seeds', such as 'Marvellous' which was the song featured in a certain car advert. And of course, there's the one which always reminds us of England's sad defeat in Euro 96, 'Three Lions'. This album is definitely one of the best in my cd collection.

I've been a great admirer of the Seeds for a while now. Their music is cheerful, exciting, and generally great to listen to. But the biggest problem is getting an album - there are so many, and some contain largely the same material. What we need is a 'best of'. And that's just what this is.
'Like You Do' plucks the best of the Seeds work, and shoe-horns it into one 16-track album. They're all there - 'Life Of Riley', 'Pure', 'Sense', 'Three Lions', ... ...brand new ones. Pretty much every track is a classic in itself, and I love every minute of this superb album. It's happy beats will keep you smiling, and listening all the way through is just what it should be - no chore at all. This album is pure quality, and I recommend it to everyone, for any time of year, for any occasion. Excellent. ...

With a band like The Lightning Seeds, a greatest hits album is bound to be a treat. From the first track, the reflective What You Say, to the final anthem, Three Lions, Like You Do is packed full of hits. If you have ever watched Match Of The Day you’ll know The Life Of Riley, while Lucky You, Change, Pure… and pretty much all the other songs on the album are completely uplifting. Ian Broudie’s vocals are complimented wonderfully by these tunes, ...

Advantages: Wonderful in every way Disadvantages: there are none!
Like You Do is one of those albums you can put on and listen to every track on. Most people who are not big Seeds fans will remember the group for 3 Lions, and this track is on the CD, but there's so much more to the band. Since the CD was released at the end of 1997 I have noticed the music being used lots in TV adverts etc - so you'll probably put the CD on and realise you know more Lightning Seeds songs than you think. The Liverpool group, led ... ...Too Short. Some of the best songs on Like You Do are Sugar Coated Iceberg, Marvellous, Perfect and What If... But every track is a masterpiece - I've had this CD since it came out ovcer 2˝ years ago, and I still listen to it regularly. Definitely worth the money! ...
