Superbad: The Return of Boosie Bad Azz - Lil Boosie

It really super-bad!

Advantages: good acting
Disadvantages: story line not great, anti-climax

Superbad is rate 15, it's from the people who brougt you 40-year old virgin and knocked up... which suggested to me it would be very good, but unfortunatly I was disappointed. The screen play is written by Seth Rogen & Evan Goldberg and in my opnion there are good points and bad points about the screen play. It is, in parts, humourous however the jokes tend to be quite crude and sometimes make you cringe! Yet I did laugh out loud on a few occassions. The characters have been well designed and are believable teenagers! The acting is of a good quality, in particular Michael Cera who plays Evan, won Breakthrough Artist Award from Austin film critics and and Chicago film critics awared him Most Promising Performer. Superbad DVD

Advantages: Very funny, good acting
Disadvantages: Aimed quite specifically at teenagers, quite crude humour

'Superbad' is a teen comedy film that follows the lives of two teenage guys - Seth and Evan- who are desperate to shake off their "uncool" status and lose their virginity before heading to college after summer. When they are invited to a big party at school, they offer to buy alcohol and seem on their way to what they want. With the help of their friend Fogell aka "McLovin" (who is even uncooler than Seth and Evan it seems), they set off to buy the drinks. A hilarious scene follows involving Fogell unveiling his new fake ID - one of my personal favourites! As predicted, the boys' party plans do not go smoothly and they end up in a bit of a situation. The final ending is a happy one though :) Advantages of this film - the cast and acting is great, in my opinion, particularly the characters of Fogell and Evan. It really is believable ...

Superbad = Superawesome

Advantages: Great casting from different movies, use of humour in social cliques
Disadvantages: None

Plot Line Superbad tells the story of two best friends Seth (Jonah Hill) and Evan (Michael Cera) in their last weeks of high schools with their virginities still in tact. But when a girl who Seth has a massive crush on invites them to her party they see it as an opportunity to get laid. That is until they are responsible for buying alcohol for the party. They team up with fellow class loser Fogell (Christopher Mintz-Plasse) who recently acquired himself a fake ID. Their lives are then blown out of proportion when Fogell gets arrested by the cops (Seth Rogen and Bill Hader) and Seth and Evan?s friendship is pushed to the edge. Is it just me or does that sound like the average lame teen comedy?
