I walked on into Woolworths a few weeks ago, looking for a different sound to play in my car, for when I drive back and forth to work, when I stumbled across this album,,, for the small price of just £5.
I took it straight up to the counter, and on the way home, played it in my car.

I suppose the sound and style of Lily Allen is a bit like Amy Winehouse and Kate Nash, only a bit more common. The types of words and phrases that are on the tracks sound like a bunch of 20 year olds stumbling out of a club blind drunk, like 'You alright Darling, You gonna buy me a drink then? No, but i was thinking about getting one for your friend.'

The 21-year-old nudged Shakira's Hips Don't Lie into the second spot after it spent just one week at the top of the singles chart, with her single, Smile.

Smile starts off the album to a good start, her sound is high pitched, and cheery, unlike most of the other music i listen to!

The other songs all sound pretty much the same, there's not bery much variation, as all the songs are portrayed as a drunken teen. I think Lily shoukd try her hand at doing something a little more classy, to see where it takes her.

Lily Allen is the daughter of the comedian, Keith Allen, so perhaps that's where she gets her lines from!

Overall, i think it's a good album, but i'm glad I only paid a fiver for it, I like to know that I'm getting a good deal when spending my money, and I think that I would of felt cheated if I paid a tenner.

Before buying, definetly listen to some samples of the music on the internet first. - Don't waste you're money first and become dissappointed.- As you can tell I'm not a particularly great fan of this CD- It's ok... But it all sounds a bit to common, and the tracks are a bit too similar for me. -But then again, some people like common- The phrases that she comes out with are onws which you could picture someone saying.
